Mrs. H. Wayne Swigart

Mrs. Marie W. Swigart, 76, of 2029 Berkley, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday in Healthwin Hospital after a six-month illness. Born Aug. 17, 1898 in South Bend, she had lived here her lifetime. On Dec. 20, 1915 in South Bend she married H. Wayne Swigart, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters. Clara Brown and Mrs. Lloyd Ransom, both of South Bend.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Dr. John Trefzger pastor of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mrs. Swigart was a member of the Crumstown Economics Club, the Lincoln Literary Club and the Ladies Aid of the Lydick Untied Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be may to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society or the Lydick United Methodist Church
