SOUTH BEND - Alyson Marie Sweeden, 4, of 209 N. Ironwood Drive, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis, after an illness. Alyson was born July 17, 1990, in South Bend. She is survived by her parents, Laura (Batterson) and Tom Sweeden; a brother, Zachary at home; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Gary Batterson of Ottumwa, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Carol and Sam Sweeden of Granger; and great-grandparents, Marge and George Scott of Ottumwa and LaVerne and Felix Kane of Gardner, Kan.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Harris Prairie Church of Christ, Granger. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.
