Mrs. Sabina
Waggoner Swartz.
Mrs. Sabina Waggoner Swartz, 2326 Kenwood Ave., died in St. Joseph Hospital at
5:10 a. m. today after several months' illness. She was born in South
Bend April 17, 1899. Her first husband, Charles Waggoner, died in
1946. In 1949 she was married to Benjamin Swartz, who survives.
Mrs. Swartz leaves also a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Howlett; a son, Leslie Waggoner;
her mother, Mrs. Josephine Michalski; two grandchildren; a brother, Anthony
Michalski, and a sister, Mrs. Roman Niemier, all of South Bend. Friends
may call after 7 p. m. today in the Hollis Funeral Home. Mrs. Swartz was
a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, and Ladies' Auxiliary 284, American
Legion.

SWARTZ-Funeral services for Mrs. Sabina Waggoner Swartz, 2326 Kenwood Ave.,
will be held at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rev. Walter
A. Higgins, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview
Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Hollis
Funeral Home.
