Mrs. Arthur L. Swanson

April 24, 1898 – December 26, 1968

Mrs. Bernice Swanson, 70, of 52349 Prescott St., died at 3am today in Memorial Hospital after a two day illness.

She was born April 24, 1898, and lived in this area most of her life.  On August 27, 1927, in South Bend, she was married to Arthur L. Swanson, who survives.  She is also survived by two brothers, Derwood and Sanford Merril, both of Niles, and tow sisters, Mrs. Belle Anderson and Mrs. Frieda Horner, both of Niles.

Friends may call after 2pm Friday in the Welsheimer North Chapel at 52803 US 31N, where services will be held at 2pm Saturday with Rev. C. Marcus Engdahl of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
