SOUTH BEND - Ann Elizabeth Sult, 79, of South Bend, IN, passed
away peacefully at her home in the arms of her daughter. Ann was
born in Plymouth, IN, on August 12, 1930 to Clifford and Mabel
(Ravenscroft) Sult. She lived most of her life in this area. Ann
was retired from Child Protective Services after 20 years of
dedication to children and their families. She went on to retire
from The South Bend School Corporation where she is known
affectionately as "Miss Ann" to her McKinley family.
Ann was a lover of mystery novels and a good cup of coffee. She
had a love for animals; was a grey hound rescuer; and a friend
with tasty treats to all the neighborhood squirrels and birds.
She is survived by her daughter Kim Hanselman of South Bend and
five loving grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy and Katie Hanselman, and
Lacie and Tish Miller, her brother Harry Sult and wife PJ, her
niece Mary and her nephew H.B. of Maryland. Ann was preceded in
death by her step-daughter Sandi Miller. As per Ann's request,
there will not be a visitation as she has taken the love from her
family and friends in her heart with her to heaven and she knows
love for her is in the hearts of her family and friends.
Contributions in memory of Ann Sult may be made to The Center for
Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend In,
46637 or the Animal Shelter of your choice. Online condolences
may be made to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
