Sister Mary Honorius CSC, 91, died today in Saint Mary’s Convent after a long illness. She was born in County Cork, Ireland as Honora Sullivan in June, 1874. She received her early education in Ireland and entered the novitiate of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1896, and received the habit in 1897. She made her profession of vows in 1899. During her community she was stationed at Alexandria, Va,; Washington DC; and Fort Wayne and Plymouth and Notre Dame. She had been a resident of the convent since 1929. There are no immediate survivors.

The requiem high mass will be offered at 6 a.m. Thursday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St. Mary’s College, and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call at the convent parlor.
