Sister Mary Carmella CSC, died Saturday afternoon in Saint Mary’s Convent, where she had been stationed several years. She was born Mary Sullivan in Louisville, Ky. in 1870. And entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1899, receiving the habit in December of that year. She made her final profession in 1896. She spent the last several years at the motherhouse at St. Mary’s. Prior to that she was stationed in various missions of the congregation, principally in the Western Province.

Requiem high mass and funeral services will be conducted at 6 a.m. Monday. Friends may call in the infirmary parlors at the convent.
