SOUTH BEND - Mary H. Sullivan 80, of Marion Street, died at 3 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. Sullivan was born March 1, 1913, in Buffalo, N.Y., living here 45 years, coming from Buffalo.

On July 1, 1944, in Buffalo, as Mary Hennessey, she married George C. Sullivan. He died in 1978. Surviving are two daughters, Eileen Herlihy of Buffalo and Denise Sanford of South Bend; two sons, Terry of Santa Monica, Calif., and Michael of Harrisburg, Pa.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Paula Marie Hennessey of Yardley, Pa. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and Mayor's Council for Senior Citizens.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where a rosary will be said at 7:30. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
