SOUTH BEND - Ruby Mae Sukolics, 97, died Nov. 6 in Spring, TX in a nursing home. Ruby was born on Jan. 1, 1910, to the late David and Beatrice Huffine in Bertrand, MI. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, who died in 1992. She was a lifetime resident of the South Bend, Mishawaka, and Elkhart area until she moved to St. Louis in 1989. Then to Conroe, TX in 2005.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Carol) of St. Louis and Richard (June) of Conroe, TX; a daughter, Nancy (Leonard) Schumacher Stevens of Medford, NJ; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was an honorary member of the Faith Baptist Church, Bridgeton, MO, where a memorial service was held. Internment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
