Services for George D. Stumpo, 83, of Los Angeles, formerly of South Bend, who died Sept. 26, in St. John's Hospital, Santa Monica, Calif., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Chapel, Granger. Entombment will follow. There will be no visitation. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and Children's Center. Mr. Stumpo was a retired electrician. He was born Jan. 13, 1905, in Trenton, N. J. He lived in South Bend from 1970 to 1982. He married Anna Fischetti, who died May 19, 1981. His second wife, Teresa Stumpo, whom he married Sept. 24, 1983, in Los Angeles survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Georgenne Dunfee of Evanston, Ill., and Anne Stumpo-Sanchez of Los Angeles; a son Gordon of New Jersey; four grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond of Pasadena, Calif. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
