MISHAWAKA - Stephen Gerard Stuart, 27, of Lafayette, Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, died Saturday in his home of natural causes. Mr. Stuart was employed as a graphic designer for Radian Research, Lafayette. He was born May 17, 1968, in Mishawaka and moved to Lafayette four years ago.

On July 27, 1991, in South Bend, he married Shelly Tomsits. She survives with a daughter, Emelia I. at home; a son, Matthew G. at home; his parents, Rose Marie and Ronald S. Stuart of Mishawaka; five sisters, Angela Majewski, Zita Stuart, Sharon Stuart, Monica Stuart and Regina Stuart, all of Mishawaka; six brothers, Phillip E. of Ann Arbor, Paul, Kenneth and Damien, all of Mishawaka, Peter of South Bend and Anthony of Indianapolis; and maternal grandparents, Eugenia ''Rose'' and Joseph Arata of Osceola. He was a graduate of Marian High School and Purdue University.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Emilia and Matthew Stuart Fund, Mishawaka Federal Savings, 121 S.
