OSCEOLA – Mrs.
Sophia K. Strycker, 38, of 57030 Greenlawn Avenue, Osceola,
died Monday morning in Elkhart General Hospital, where she had
been a patient for six days, after a three-month illness. She was
born Aug. 4, 1931 in Walkerton coming to Osceola from that city
20 years ago. As, As Sophia M. Lehman she married Robert
K. Strycker in Osceola on Feb. 17, 1951. Surviving in addition to
her husband are four sons, Robert C., Dale E., Roy and Nicki G,
all at home; four daughters, Phyllis S., Connie L., Sharon D, and
Penny J, all at home; and her mother, Mrs. Eva Lehman.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where services
will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday and burial will be in Osceola
Cemetery.
