SOUTH BEND - Patrick Louis Strominski, 39, of Elwood Avenue, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Strominski was employed by Electro Transfer Systems for five years. He was born Jan. 23, 1955, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Dec. 22, 1990, in South Bend, he married Leigh Ann Taylor. She survives with a daughter, Jessica Strominski of La Crosse, Wis.; his mother and stepfather, Cecilia and Anthony Klosowski of South Bend; his father, Paul Strominski of South Bend; a half sister, Kimberly J. Litter of Tulsa, Okla.; and a stepbrother, Thomas of South Bend. He was past commander of Sons of the Legion, American Legion Post 50, and was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
