Paul F. Strombeck, 83, of East LaSalle Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away in his sleep on Thursday, July 17, at home. He was born Dec. 15, 1919, in Elkhart, Ind., to Earl and Maude Strombeck, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, and by a grandson, Shawn.

On June 7, 1953, he married the former Florence Taylor in Plymouth, Ind. She survives. He is also survived by their children, Mike Name, Dave Strombeck, Rick (Linda) Strombeck and Larry (Cindy) Strombeck, all of Mishawaka, Bob Strombeck of North Carolina, Sue Ingle of Elkhart, and Mary Beth and Paulett. He is also survived by a brother, Howard Strombeck of Utah. Six grandchildren survive, Mike, Chad, Jason, Erica, Christy and Jennifer. Mr. Strombeck was currently employed by Misch Manufacturing of Mishawaka and had worked there for 35 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will follow the services Saturday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church, 2511 East 3rd Street, Mishawaka.
