MISHAWAKA - Leslie E. Strombeck, 79, of 2211 E. Fourth St., died at 12:10 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Strombeck retired in 1980 from Indiana Michigan Power Co., South Bend. He was born July 30, 1915, in Elkhart and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 4, 1943, in Mishawaka, he married Esther Christian. She survives with three sons, Tom of Dallas and John and Jeff, both of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Roy of South Bend, Howard of Los Altos, Calif., and Paul of Mishawaka. He was a member of Albright United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and two hours before services
