Donald A. Stretch

April 4, 1911 – May 2, 1986

Donald A. Stretch, 75, of 138 W. Broadway, Mishawaka, died at 10:45pm Friday I Michiana Community Hospital following an illness.  He retired from the Dodge Corp. in 1975 after 25 years of service.

Mr. Stretch was born April 4, 1911, in Shelbyville IL.  He lived in Mishawaka for 34 years, coming from Shelbyville.  On December 15, 1962, in Mishawaka, he married the former Doris M. Strobe, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Debrah Jewell Hartman of Indianapolis and Nancy L. Estes of Shelbyville TN; a son, Robert E. Hansman of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Wagner of Pana IL

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Monday.  Services will be at 1pm Tuesday in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  He was a WW II Army veteran and a member of the Christian Center Church.  Military graveside services will be conducted.
