SOUTH BEND - Anna K. Strantz, 83, of Fir Lane, died at 5:30 a.m. today in her home after an illness. Mrs. Strantz retired in 1971 from Bendix Corp. after 35 years of service. She was born Oct. 18, 1911, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Nov. 24, 1939, in South Bend, as Anna Kaman, she married Henry Strantz. He died Nov. 2, 1958. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Albertson and Theresa Berkland, both of South Bend; a grandchild; and two sisters, Rozanne Lundquist and Agnes Kirsits, both of South Bend. She was a member of the Christ Child Society, Women's Club of Walnut Grove and St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Zahoran Funeral Home.

SOUTH BEND - Services for Anna K. Strantz, 83, of Fir Lane, who died at 5:30 a.m. Monday in her home, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Zahoran Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the church building fund.
