MISHAWAKA - Ida H. Stout, 70, of 301 E. Sixth St., died at 8:20 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital of natural causes. Mrs. Stout retired in 1991 from McLellan Dime Store after 11 years of service. She was born Aug. 26, 1923, in LaPorte.

On July 25, 1946, in LaPorte, as Ida H. Brown, she married Donald E. Stout. He survives, with four daughters, Marilyn Jordon of Coleman, Mich., Kathy Coggins of Flint, Mich., and Donna McBrier and Sandra Hayden, both of Mishawaka; a son, David of Midland, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Britton of South Bend; and a brother, Wilbur Brown of Chula Vista, Calif.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel Downtown, 202 N. Main St. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
