WALKERTON - Brian Richard Stout, 34, of 102 Grissom St., died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mr. Stout was employed as a shipping-receiving operator for New Energy, South Bend. He was born May 12, 1961, in South Bend.

On March 26, 1983, in Mishawaka, he married Shelly Marie Cox. She survives with a daughter, Rachel at home; a son, Ryan at home; his parents, Lorraine and Frank Stout of South Bend; and a sister, Kimberly DeBailey of South Bend. He was a member of Muscular Dystrophy Association and ABATE, South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
