SOUTH BEND - Lillian Elizabeth Stoner, 93, of Boise,
Idaho, formerly of South Bend, passed away January 1, 2008.
Lillian was born in LaGrange, IN to the late Homer and Julia (Wisler)
Biddle in 1914.
She lived in the South Bend area for 80
years and moved to Boise, Idaho in 2003. Lillian married Lyle J.
Stoner on November 9, 1941, at Ridgedale Presbyterian Church,
South Bend. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband,
parents, and brother, Willard Biddle. She is survived by three
daughters, Barbara (William) Fifer of Bremen, IN, Nancy
(Michael) May of Boise, Idaho and Diana Sipe of
Mishawaka, IN; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Marian Humphrey of
Jones, MI. Lillian was a loving grandmother who will be truly
missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to a 2:00 p.m. burial in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola on Wednesday, January 9, 2007. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
