28, 1918 - April 1, 2010GRANGER - Marianna "Jane" G. Stombaugh, 91, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2010, in Emeritus At Arborwood. Marianna was born on April 28, 1918, in South Bend, to the late Stephen and Mary (Chelbek) Stachowski. On July 23, 1940, in Gary, IN, she married Lawrence D. Stombaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, and by sons, David and Darwin, brothers, Harry, Al, John and David Stachowski. Surviving Marianna are a son, Dennis (Kathleen Marie) Stombaugh of Niles, MI; grandchildren, Stella (Mark) Zmyslo, Steven (Tina) Strombaugh and Stephanie (Richard) Stanley; great-grandchildren, Tyler Zmyslo, Hanna and Samuel Stombaugh, Brandon, Sarah and Nichole Stanley. Marianna was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She belonged to the Bunko Club and the Moose Lodge. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crumstown Cemetery, North Liberty.
