MISHAWAKA - William L. Stoeckinger, 57, of 709 E. Broadway, was dead on arrival at 7 a.m. today in Osteopathic Hospital, South Bend, where he was taken by p;ice in the city ambulance, after he suddenly became ill. He was born March 16, 1914 in South Bend and had lived in this area all his life. He was employed by Studebaker Corp. in South Bend for 28 years prior to his employment by Cory Coffee System of South Bend for the past five years.

He married Louise Hesse in South Bend on June 10, 1934. He is survived by his wife; a son, Evertt L. at home; a brother Charles G. of Elkhart; three sisters, Mrs. Paul Rogers and Mrs. Ethel Lewis, both of Mishawaka and Mrs. Paul Gasaway of South Bend; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and until services at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Fairvies Cemetery.
