Robert R. Stoeckinger, 79, of Valrico, Fla., passed away Thursday, June 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Janet; a son; three daughters; two brothers; two sisters; and eight grandchildren.

He has resided in Valrico for 11 years coming from his native, Mishawaka, Ind. He was a machinist with S. B. Lathe Works for 30 years, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, a lifetime member of the South Bend, Ind., Elks lodge, a member of the Mishawaka, Ind., V.F.W. Post No. 360, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon.

A Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in the Featherock Adult Mobile Home Park, Social Hall. Committal services will be conducted at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. Stowers-Brandon Funeral Home, Brandon, Fla., is handling arrangements.
