Mrs. Fred Stockbarger
Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Stockbarer,
aged 53, of rural route No.3, Bremen, Ind., formerly of
Mishawaka, who was killed in a two-car crash Monday night at
Fredericks, Md., will take place at 9 oclock Friday morning
in St. Josephs Catholic church here. Burial will be
in Fairview Catholic cemetery. Friends may call at the
Thallemer funeral home until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Stockbarger died of multiple skull
fractures received in the crash. She was riding in a car
driven by her husband. They were on a vacation trip. Mrs.
Stockbarger was born in Mishawaka and lived here until three
years ago. As Miss Frances Bickel she married Mr.
Stockbarger 35 years ago in Mishawaka.
Besides her husband she is survived by her
mother, Mrs. Sadie Bickel; one son, Maxwell Stockbarger, of
Mishawaka; three grandchildren; two brothers, Wilford Bickel, of
Elkhart, Ind., and Ronald Bickel, of South Bend, and four
sisters, Mrs. Harry Hambright, of Logansport, Ind., Mrs.
Ronald Rich, of South Bend, and Mrs. Clarence of Hoose and
Mrs. Glen McMillan, of Mishawaka.
