SOUTH BEND - Russell Dale Stickney, 61, passed away at Hospice House, South Bend, after a 5-year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Verduin) Stickney; daughter, Amy and Nathan Makinen of Elkhart; granddaughter, Emma Makinen; sister, Debbie Chris of Elkhart; brothers, Dennis Stickney of Pine Flats, TN, and Frank Montagano of Irvine, CA. Friends may visit with the family from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23rd, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. There will be no funeral service. Contributions may be sent to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc.
