OSCEOLA - Ilo E. Roberts Stickel, 88, of 55170 Belair
Street, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1st, in Hubbard Hill
Estates. She was born on January 25, 1920, in Bellwood, IL, to
Frank and Clara (Hennings-Zimmerman) Plummer. On
May 25, 1940, in Elkhart, IN, she married Dalton D. Roberts,
who died on November 19, 1976, in Alabama. She then married
Harold Stickel on October 31, 1980, in Elkhart IN, who died in
1994 in Elkhart. Ilo graduated in 1938 from Wolcottville High
School. She was a life member of the Willow Creek United
Methodist Church in Mishawaka. She enjoyed doing crafts, ceramics
and listening to music. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela A.
(Larry) Kyle of Osceola, IN; a son, Jeffrey A. (Maureen Dabrowski)
Roberts of Osceola; eight grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren; a companion, Wayne Miller of
Mishawaka; and sisters, Ethel (Charles) Wolf of Elkhart
and Charlotte (Thomas) Garl of Elkhart. She was preceded
in death by a brother, Frank Plummer Jr., and a sister, Dorothy McCloud.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6th, in Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel, 1109 Lincoln Way W., Osceola, with Rev. Floran Mast and Rev. Clyde Trumbauer. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5th, in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
or to Willow Creek United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
