Mrs. Julius Stevens

June 15, 1880 – October 27, 1967

Mrs. Julius Stevens, 87, of 511 W. 8^th St., died at 7am today in the St. Joseph’s Hospital.  She had been ill for three months.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Bellem, Belgium, June 15, 1880 and came to Mishawaka from that country in 1922.  As Miss Sylvia Hallaert, she married Mr. Stevens, September 23, 1922.  He died five years ago.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Maurice Leliaert; two grandchildren, Rev. Richard Leliaert, OSC, of Onamia MN and Mrs. Donald Grzeskowiak , South Bend, and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call in the DeVos Funeral Chapel Sunday.  Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Senior Altar Society of St Bavo’s Church.
