6, 1933 - April 8, 2010MISHAWAKA - Delores J. Stephenson, 76, of East Broadway, Mishawaka, passed away at 5:35 am Thursday, April 8th at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born on October 6th, 1933 in Mishawaka to Alfred and Anna (Luther) Carter who preceded her in death. On November 5th, 1950, in Mishawaka, she married Frank E. Stephenson, who survives with three sons, Frank Stephenson Jr. of Mishawaka, Terry Stephenson of Granger and Danny Stephenson of South Bend. Also surviving is a daughter, Kathy Royer of Mishawaka. She also leaves five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren along with one brother, Dennis Carter of Mishawaka. Mrs. Stephenson retired from K-Mart as a Clerk after 10 years of service. She was a wonderful wife of 60 years and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2 until 6 pm on Sunday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka where services will be held at 11:00 am Monday. The family will also be visiting with friends one hour prior to the services Monday. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
