SOUTH BEND - Ethelmae Stephens, 67, of 61736 Mayflower Road, died at 9 a.m. Saturday in her home after an illness.

Mrs. Stephens was born Sept. 14, 1926, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Aug. 8, 1948, in South Bend, as Ethelmae Woodcox, she married Roland C. Stephens. He survives with two daughters, Judy Dralle of South Bend and Peggy Stephens at home; three sons, Gary of Kentucky, Mike of South Bend and David of Powder Springs, Ga.; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Platz of Mishawaka, and Sylvia Mitschelen and Phyllis Craig, both of South Bend; and a brother, Dean Woodcox of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
