Ruth Audrey Stebbins Aug. 16, 1923 - Jan. 30, 2014

MISHAWAKA - Ruth Audrey Stebbins, 90, passed away in North Liberty on Thursday, January 30th.  Audrey was born on August 16, 1923, in Pickens, Arkansas, to H.G. and Ola Grace (Robertson) Leek, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Hardy W. Stebbins, Jr,. in 1967 in Vietnam; and siblings, Marie Herrington, Henra Harp, Kay Ridout, H.G. Leek, Jr., and Adrian Leek.    Audrey married Hardy W. Stebbins on March 17, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He also preceded her in death.  Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Klinedinst of North Liberty; grandchildren, Jeff Wiersema, Josiah Klinedinst, Emily Williams, Sasha Felgenhauer and Richard Klinedinst; and 11 great-grandchildren.    Audrey was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, Delta Gamma, and Beta Sigma Phi. She was an avid bridge player and golfer.  Audrey also treasured spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She always enjoyed making pecan pies for every family get-together.    A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3; at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka, with Rev.
