Mrs. Martha G. Stamm

July 29, 1876 – May 16, 1965

Mrs. Martha G. Stamm, 88, of 1320 Belmont Ave., died at 12:30pm Sunday in the Cardinal Nursing Home.  She had been ill three months.  She was born on July 29, 1876, in Sparta IL, residing in South Bend for the last 60 years.  She was married in 1897 in Sparta to Charles W. Stamm, who died in February 1962.  She is survived by a son, Wilbur D. of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Hedley Warrick of South Bend; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7pm today at the Welsheimer Funeral Home.  Services will be at 2pm Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Lester Bill, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
