SOUTH BEND - Stella Stajkowski, 93, of Transitional Health Services of South Bend, died at 5 a.m. today in St. Mary Community Hospital. Mrs. Stajkowski was born Sept. 18, 1902, in South Bend.

On May 24, 1920, in South Bend, as Stella Lechtanski, she married Stanley Stajkowski. He died in 1975. She is survived by three daughters, Irene Stajkowski, Angela Stajkowski and Dorothy Weesner, all of South Bend; three sons, Ben and Raymond, both of South Bend, and Jerome of Elkhart; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Tillie Pilarski, Harriet Konopinski and Bernice Rutkowski, all of South Bend; and a brother, Alex Lechtanski of South Bend.

Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
