Joseph F. Stachowiak

October 18, 1885 - January 18, 1948

Joseph F. Stachowiak, aged 62, of 512 South William Street, died suddenly in his home at 10:40am Sunday.

He was born here October 18, 1885.  On June 18, 1906, he was married in St Hedwige's Catholic Church to Regina Palicki, who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Nafradi; two brothers, Frank and Lawrence Stachowiak, all of South Bend; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Lounweart, of Kalamazoo MI; Mrs. Constance Traczuk and Mrs. Harriet Jankowski, both of South Bend and one grandchild.

Friends may call after 7pm today in the Kaniewski & Son Funeral Home.  Requiem services will be conducted at 9am Thursday in St Hedwige's Church by Rev. Boleslaus J. Sztuczko, CSC, pastor. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
