Monica F. Sroda

August 30, 1914 – March 17, 1993

Monica F. Sroda, 78, of West Edison Road, died about 4:18pm Wednesday at Memorial Hospital of natural causes.  Mrs. Sroda was an employee of Wilson Bros. Shirt Co. and National Bank and Trust Co.

She was born August 30, 1914, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  In 1932, in South Bend Bend, as Monica Rozmarynowski, she married Bert R. Sroda.  He died June 30, 1988.  She is survived by a son, Donald of South Bend; a grandson; a great grandson; and a sister, Gladys Manuszak of Edwardsburg.  She was a member of Altar & Rosary Society of St John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Services will be at 12:30pm Saturday in St John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Friday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a vigil service will take place at 3:30pm.
