Teresa C. Squadroni, 99, of Mishawaka passed away at 10:30 p.m. Thursday July 18, at Miller's Merry Manor Wakarusa after an illness. Mrs. Squadroni was born on March 5, 1897 in Rimini, Italy and lived here since 1920, coming from Italy.
In December of 1919 in Italy, as Teresa C. Cesari, she married Ercole Squadroni, who passed away on Jan. 17, 1938. She is survived by two sons, Quinto J. Squadroni of Mishawaka and William S. Squadroni of South Bend; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren Three daughters preceded her in death; Yolanda Clements; Clara Dykhuizen and Rose Squadroni. Mrs. Squadroni was a charter member of De Amici's Ladies Auxillary and a member of St. Bavo's Church and the Altar Society.
Visitation will be at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka on Monday July 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuedsday July 23, at St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bavo's School.
