Gizella Ann Squadroni, 82, of South 25th Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 1:25 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in her home. Mrs. Squadroni was born Feb. 6, 1920, in South Bend, to the late George and Barbara (Kertes) Bagarus, and had lived in the South Bend area all her life.
On April 3, 1948, in South Bend, she married William F. Squadroni, who survives. She is also survived by three sons, Bill (Christy) Squadroni of Greenville, S.C., Frank (Michele) Squadroni of Granger, Ind., and Dale Squadroni of Mishawaka, Ind.; three grandchildren, Frank, Matthew and Stephanie; four sisters, Constance Bagarus of New Jersey, Helen Bloom of Mishawaka, Betty Danowski of Granger and Mary Heyde of South Bend, and by a brother, George Bagarus of South Bend.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Feb. 3, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Andre Leveille, CSC, will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Mrs. Squadroni was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church and the church's Altar and Rosary Society. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
