SOUTH BEND - Roswell Reo "Ross" Spore, 71,
passed away at 11:03 p.m. Friday in Hospice House. He was born on
November 8, 1936, in Charlotte, MI, to the late Mary (Burkett)
and Reo Spore.
On September 25, 1974, in Ft. Wayne, IN, he
married Lou-Ann Langwith, who survives. Ross is also
survived by daughters, Shannon Blake of Northville, MI,
and Nicole (Matthew) Mysliwiec of Madison, WI; a son,
Scott (Kelly) Kryder of Granger; a granddaughter, Marley
Kryder; and a sister, Terri (Lynn) Irwin of Grand Ledge,
MI.
Ross was the former owner of Bullseye
Discount Liquor Store on State Road 23, South Bend. He was a
graduate of Everett High School, Lansing, MI, and Michigan State
University, where he received his B.A. in communications. He was
a member of the B.P.O.E. #235, South Bend. Ross was a loving and
caring husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be
greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
It was Ross's wish that there will be no
formal services or visitation. Cremation will take place in the
Welsheimer Crematory, South Bend. The Welsheimer Family Funeral
Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, is handling arrangements. In
lieu of flowers, send contributions in memory of Ross Spore to
the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct.,
South Bend, IN 46637.
