Attached is a partial page of the South Bend Tribune for Mar 8 1902. Highlighted in yellow is the short obit of my GGrandfather Alzie Hiram Spicer. Alzie Spicer was born July 11 1858 Kosciusko Co., In. to Hiram & Lydia Ann 'Scott' Spicer. He grew up in Kosciusko Co., and married Delzina Pickens  Nov. 25, 1880 in Warsaw, In. It is unclear when he moved to South Bend but it was sometime before 1900, as he and his family showed on the 1900 census. He was survived by his wife Delzina (Della) daughters Leoda and Carrie, and son Boyd Hampton Spicer (my grandfather)
