Louis J. Spart, 74, of Linden Ave., Mishawaka, passed away at 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, in Hospice House, South Bend. Louis was born on November 22, 1928, in Mishawaka, as the son of the late Bert and Maria (Chiarappa) Spart. He was also preceded in death by a son, Eric in 1974.

On December 30, 1954, he married the former Lenore Vogler, who preceded him in death on April 29, 2003. Louis is survived by a daughter, Paula Spart of South Bend; a son, Matthew Spart of Mishawaka; and four sisters, Mary Lehman of Saddleback, MI, Angela Tydgat, Ann Claeys and Rita Esarey, all of Mishawaka.

Louis was a lifetime area resident. He was a Production Inspector for Raco until he retired in 1988. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. He was a loving father and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, October 3, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Robert Yast officiating. Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum, Mishawaka.
