Eric Lawrence Spart, 13 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Spart, 1909 Linden Ave., was found dead in his bead early this morning, apparently of an illness, according to his family physician. Born in Mishawaka on Dec. 9, 1960, Eric had lived here all his life. He attended Logan School. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Matthew J., and a sister Paula L., both at home and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Maria G. Spart.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the DeVos Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Patrick Durkin, assistant pastor of St. Joseph Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
