Edward O. Spansail
Edward O. Spansail, aged 56, who had been ill the last seven weeks, died at 5 pm Thursday in his home,, 1021 East Madison street. Mr. Spansail was born March 26, 1882 in Germany, and came here 25 years ago from Illinois. He was married in 1912 in South Bend to Millicent Wiltfong, who survives. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Walter A. Wiltfong, this city; Mrs. Herman Kohle, Sycamore, Ill., and Mrs. Nelson, Genoa, Ill., and a brother, Fred Spansail of North Dakota. Friends will be received in the residence from tonight until the funeral to be held at 2:30 pm Saturday in Zion Evangelical church. Rev. Waldemar M. Goffeney, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Highland cemetery.
