Mishawaka – Carol Ann Spalazzi, 49, of West 11^th Street, died of natural causes at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital. Miss Spalazzi was a piano teacher for 32 years. She was born Sept. 5, 1941 in Mishawaka and was a lifelong resident. She is survived by her parents, Rose M. and Frank J. Spalazzi of Mishawaka; a sister, Maxine Buysse of Mishawaka; a brother Dennis of Cincinnati; and three nieces and two nephews.

She was a member of Michiana Piano Teachers Association and St. Joseph Catholic Church and Rosary Society. She was a graduate of the Sherwood Music School, Chicago.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3 p.m. and a wake will be at 8 p.m.
