Nicholas V. Spagnolo Jr., 28, of 3229 Kent Lane, died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital after a 10-month illness. He was the former owner of the Avenue Beauty Salon. He was born on Nov. 8, 1950 in South Bend and lived here all of his life.
On July 31, 1971 in South Bend he married Cynthia Fenimore, who survives. Also surviving are a son Nicholas V. III at home; two sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Smith of South Bend and Mrs. Judy Shoemake of Columbus, Ga., and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas V. Spagnolo Sr. of South Bend
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Hickey Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Robert A. Yast, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church.
