Mrs. Howard R. Soule
Mrs. Howard R. Soule, 53 of 204 E. Broadway, who had been ill for the last year, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Osteopathic Hospital, South Bend. She has lived in Mishawaka for 40 years coming here from Dowagiac, Mich. She was born in Decatur, Mich., March 27, 1914 and as Leota D. Person she married Howard R. Soule, in Mishawka, July 1, 1944. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Howard R. Jr., Allen E., and Thomas M. Soule all at home; one daughter Alice E. Soule, also at home; two step-sons, Richard and Wayne Soule of Mishawaka; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ralph Gill and Mrs. Beverly Warren, also of Mishawaka; 16 grandchildren and one brother Frank Person, of Mishawaka. Mrs. Soule was a member and a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary post 161, of Mishawaka. Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today and until the funeral services there at 1 p.m. Friday. Alex Murray, minister of the Grace Bible Chapel, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park
