MISHAWAKA - Howard Ronald Soule, 57, of 5823 W. 3rd St., Trotwood, OH, died at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH.

He was born on May 20, 1949, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Leota Darlene (Persons) and Howard Russell Soule. On March 17, 1990, he married Barbara Powers, who preceded him in death in 2002. He was also preceded in death by a half sister, Beverly Soule Stewart.

Survivors include brothers, Allen Soule Sr. and Thomas Soule, both of South Bend; half brothers, Richard Soule of Mishawaka and Wayne Soule of Bremen; uncle, Frank Persons of Mishawaka; sister, Alice Soule Overly of Peru, IN; half sister, Harriet Soule Gill of Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Michiana Community Church of God on Ash Road, where friends may call one hour before services. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church Cemetery, Dowagiac.
