SOUTH BEND - Benedict J. Sopczynski, 93, passed away on Saturday in The Sanctuary at Holy Cross. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ellen (Dean) Adams, Barbara (Thomas) Gruszynski and Christine Sopczynski; and by a sister, Alice Fanti. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, March 9, in St. Stanislaus B.M. Church, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 PM Sunday, March 8, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend.
