"Charles L. Soice

     Charles L. Soice, 80, died at 1:30 a.m. today in his home, 3506 Mishawaka Ave., after an illness of five years.  He was a resident of South Bend 49 years, coming here from Plymouth, Ind., where he was born May 23, 1873.  Until his illness, he was an employee of the South Bend traffic engineering department.  His wife, Nellie Taber Soice, whom he married in 1898 in Plymouth, survives.  The body is in the Hollis Chapel where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Ralph Moore, pastor of River Park Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth."
