Frank Sobodos

Frank Sobodos, 86, of the Northwood Nursing Home, formerly of 2110 S. Scott Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 1, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sobodos retired from Steel Warehouse and also had been employed by the Studebaker Corporation. Frank was a member of the DFV German Club. He was born on May 1, 1913, in South Bend, to Frank and Mary Szabados, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Szabados. On Nov. 26, 1938, in South Bend, he married Julia Nagy, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Sharon (Charles) Clark of South Bend; a granddaughter, Kimberly (Randy) Yoho of South Bend; a great-grandson, Charles Yoho; a step-great-granddaughter, Kelie Yoho; and by two step-great-grandsons, Matthew and Justin Yoho

Services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services in the funeral home.
