Dolores L. Sobieralski, 73, formerly of S. Warren Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 3:55 p.m. on Thursday in St. Joseph Care Center. She was born on April 9, 1927 in South Bend and was the daughter of Stanley and Josephine (Wroblewski) Rys.

On April 17, 1948 as Dolores Rys, she married Clem Sobieralski who preceded her in death on March 20, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Chester Rys. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Ed) Thomas of Fremont, Mich.; a son, Christopher (Lori) Sobieralski of South Bend; three grandchildren, Andrew (Julie) Thomas of Grand Rapids, Mich., Jeremy (Sarah) Thomas of St. Johns, Mich. and Michael Sobieralski of South Bend; one great-grandchild, Caleb Thomas of Grand Rapids; a sister, Martha Kajzer of Gilroy, Calif.; and by a brother, Alex Rys of South Bend. Mrs. Sobieralski was a member of the Polish Womens Alliance #305, and a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church with burial to follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
