Jeremiah J. Sobecki

August 16, 1977 - September 21, 1993

Jeremiah J. Sobecki, 16, of Chestnut Road, died about 3:49pm Tuesday after an automobile accident on Currant Road north of Early Road.  Jeremiah was a sophomore at Penn High School, Mishawaka.

He was born August 16, 1977, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  He is survived by his parents, Paula and Dale Sobecki of Granger; a sister, Rachel at home; maternal grandparents, Arlene and Richard Myers of Mishawaka; and a paternal grandmother, Angela Sobecki of Granger.  He was a member of Penn High School marching band and was a Boy Scout.

Services will be at 10am Friday in St Pius X Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.  Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Thursday in St Joseph Funeral Home, where a wake will be said at 7:30pm and one hour before services on Friday in the church.
